I love being a teacher, inspiring students to learn and learning from students as well! I enjoy the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

College
I am a banana slug and attended the University of California, Santa Cruz and received my degree in Psychology with a minor in education. I received my multiple subject and special education teaching credential at Cal State East Bay. I received my Masters in Education at Cal State East Bay as well.

District Tools I Use 

Sangha Interactive App
I have not yet started to use the Sangha App to communicate with families.  I will update my Teacher Page when I begin using it.  If you are subscribed to this page, you will be notified via email.

Google Classroom
I am using google classroom to manage assignments. Students can use their log in at home to access assignments at home.

Other Tools I Use
News ELA: This is a site that has articles for elementary school students 2nd grade and up. The articles can be adjusted by reading level to provide access to interesting texts for all students. Students can take quizzes and use the information to write their own essays.

Brain Pop
This is a site with videos for almost every subject that you could think of in school. It is engaging and humorous. Students love to watch videos and take the quizzes on Brain Pop.
